HC Deb 04 April 1910 vol 16 cc26-7
Mr. DOUGLAS HALL

asked the Prime Minister whether he is prepared to grant a Return showing the number of Government Bills which, since the year 1880, have passed the House of Commons but been rejected by the House of Lords; and whether he will in that Return include a statement showing which of those Bills, if any, subsequently became law, and the time which elapsed after their first rejection by the House of Lords and their subsequently becoming law?

The PRIME MINISTER

I have considered the hon. Member's suggestion, and, in view of the fact that the information for which he asks is easily accessible, I am not, as at present advised, disposed to grant the Return in question.
