HC Deb 04 April 1910 vol 16 c36
Mr. THOMAS O'DONNELL

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he can say what is the amount contributed in the year ended 31st March, 1910, to the Intermediate Education Board (Ireland) under Section 3 of the Local Taxation Act, 1890; and, if not. when does he expect to be able to do so?

The CHIEF SECRETARY for IRELAND (Mr. Birrell)

My right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer has asked me to answer this question. I do not expect to be able to say what the amount will be until the end of June or the beginning of July. The accounts for the financial year must be completed before the residue payable to the Intermediate Education Board can be ascertained.
