HC Deb 20 September 1909 vol 11 c20
Mr. KAVANAGH

asked when the Report of the Vice-Regal Commission on Irish Railways will be issued; and, if it is not ready now, whether the conclusions at which the Commission have arrived could be issued as an interim Report for the information of the Committee now considering the Development and Road Improvement Funds Bill?

The ATTORNEY-GENERAL for IRELAND (Mr. Cherry)

I understand that the Report of the Vice-Regal Commission on Irish Railways is at present under the consideration of the Commissioners, who hope to be able to submit it to the Lord Lieutenant at an early date. The Commissioners do not consider it practicable at this stage to issue as an interim Report the conclusions at which they have arrived.
