§ The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. Sydney Buxton)Messrs. Webster are now paying the recognised rates of 7s. a day for firemen and 6s. a day for doormen to all farriers at present employed on work in connection with the mail contract. I am in communication with the contractors and the Board of Trade respecting the men's hours of labour.
