HC Deb 13 September 1909 vol 10 cc1731-2
Captain CRAIG

asked whether the Government Amendments to the Development Bill would be placed on the Paper before the Bill went into Grand Committee.

Mr. HOBHOUSE

My right hon. Friend will endeavour to place on the Paper, before the Development Bill goes into Committee, any Amendments which it may be necessary to move on behalf of the Government.

Captain CRAIG

Will these Amendments be placed on the Paper before they are given to the favourite Radical Press?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

I have said that any Amendments which it is thought necessary to make will be placed on the Paper.
