§ Mr. MARKHAMasked the Home Secretary whether he has any information that licensed premises closed on the ground of redundancy by the Act of 1903 have been reopened as clubs after the former owners had received compensation; and can he say how many licensed premises have been converted into clubs?
§ Mr. GLADSTONEI have received some resolutions from compensation authorities on this subject, and a few actual cases have come under my notice; but I have no general information or figures bearing on the question.
