Gentleman can give any assurance that the work of the Scottish Church Commission, will be completed within the period for which extension has been granted; and if he is aware that the delay due to the repeated extension of time is causing embarrassment and expense to the United Free Church?
§ Mr. UREI am informed by the Secretary to the Commission that it is expected that the work of the Commission will be completed within the period for which extension was granted. It is obviously in the interests of both parties that all matters outstanding should be settled with as little delay as possible, and I trust the expectation of the Commission will be fulfilled.
