§ Resolution reported,
§ "That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to promote the economic development of the United Kingdom and the improvement of roads therein, it is expedient to authorise—
- (a) the payment to the Development Fund for the purpose of advances of such moneys as may from time to time
1278 be provided by Parliament, and the charge on the Consolidated Fund and payment into the Development Fund of a sum of five hundred thousand pounds in the year ending the thirty-first day of March, nineteen hundred and eleven, and in each of the next succeeding four years; and - (b) the charge on the Consolidated Fund of the payment of interest and repayment of the principal of any money borrowed under such Act to an amount not exceding two hundred thousand pounds in any year so far as the Road Improvement Grant is unable to meet the same."
