HC Deb 02 September 1909 vol 10 c556
Mr. LONSDALE (for Captain Craig)

asked the Chief Secretary whether he is aware that a newly erected house on the Scully ranch, near Tullaroan, county Kilkenny, the property of a man named Patrick Campion, was recently partially destroyed by a bomb explosion; whether he is aware that the division of those lands by the Estates Commissioners occasioned some disturbances in the locality, which were followed by prosecutions; and, if so, what action he proposes to take?

Mr. CHERRY

I am informed by the constabulary authorities that Campion's house was partially destroyed, as stated, by an explosion on 6th August. The prosecutions to which the hon. Member refers were in November last. The police are investigating the matter, and all necessary protection will be given to Campion.
