Strachey)We have not received any information as to the deaths of the animals mentioned, nor should we in ordinary course do so unless they were reported to the police as affected with, or suspected of, any of the contagious diseases scheduled by Order under the Diseases of Animals Act, 1894. We will, 457 however, have inquiry made, and I should be much obliged if the hon. Member will be good enough to supply me with any information he may have on the subject.
