§ Mr. BUXTONThe number of units of work at Chester-le-Street is 26. There are no separate units of work for Birtley, which is a sub-office under Newcastle-on-Tyne. The cost of living at these places is estimated to be about normal. The staff at each office receive an increase in their various wage under the classification.
