§ Mr. E. H. CARLILEI beg leave to present Petitions against the Finance Bill from the following places: Brighton, Ealing, Oxford, Bedford, Weston-super-Mare, Croydon, and Sevenoaks. The petitioners object to the Bill on the following grounds amongst others—that it will give a great shock to confidence and credit, seriously disturb and injure the commerce and industries of the country, and tend to diminish employment and to reduce wages.
