HC Deb 04 November 1909 vol 12 c1984
Mr. REES

asked whether the Secretary of State has decided the question which recently arose regarding the pensionable service of officers in the Indian Army; and whether the War Office has consented to bear the expense entailed by allowing five years' previous service to count, of which two would be borne, as at present, by Indian revenues?

The MASTER of ELIBANK

The question has not yet been settled, but, as I stated in reply to a question on the 4th October, it is likely to be settled soon.
