HC Deb 04 November 1909 vol 12 c1981
Mr. PATRICK WHITE

asked the Chief Secretary whether, if a Bill is introduced next Session to assimilate the law in Dublin to what it is in London with regard to granting permission to licensed hotel keepers to allow people to remain on their premises after the usual closing hours on special occasions, such as balls, banquets, or other festive gatherings, he will assist its passage into law?

Mr. CHERRY

My right hon. Friend regrets that he cannot give any undertaking with respect to legislation next Session.
