asked whether the hon. Gentleman is yet in a position to state what steps have been taken by the Government of the Punjab in regard to the policemen found by the sessions judge at Rawal Pindi on 12th June to have extorted a confession of murder by the torture of racking from one Ghulam Mohammed, and to be open to the charge of bribery also; whether criminal proceedings have been taken against these men; and whether they are still in the service of the Government?
