HC Deb 02 November 1909 vol 12 c1650
Mr. WEIR

asked for how many days the new fishery cruiser "Norna" has been on duty at sea; on what date did she commence duty; has she yet visited the coast of Lewis and the western mainland of Boss-shire; and, if not, what waters she patrols?

Mr. URE

The "Norna" commenced duty on 5th May last, and since that date has been cruising at sea for 126 days. During that period she has visited the western coast of Ross-shire six times and the coast of Lewis five times.

Mr. GWYNN

How many fishery cruisers are there on duty on the Scotch coast?

Mr. URE

Perhaps the hon. Member will put down a question.
