HC Deb 17 May 1909 vol 5 c7
Mr. STAVELEY-HILL

asked the Secretary of State how many Territorial regiments have been provided with regimental transport; in how many cases regiments have been provided with having regard to the near approach of Whitsuntide camps, he can give any assurance that regiments going into camps at that time will be provided with the regimental transport which was now lacking?

Mr. HALDANE

All regimental transport for all Territorial Force units, except Army Service Corps, is hired by county associations. Two service wagons out of the total required by an Army Service Corps Company are supplied from store. Orders concerning the issue of these two wagons per company with harness were given some time ago, and there is no reason to suppose that there will be any delay in supply.
