HC Deb 17 May 1909 vol 5 c24
Mr. BELLAIRS

I have been requested to defer the question asking the First Lord of the Admiralty as to whether any other copies of letters from Captain Bacon, R.N., to the First Sea Lord were printed at the taxpayers' expense, in addition to the one officially admitted; and, if so, how many copies were printed in each case. As there are not in attendance any members of the Board of Admiralty, I wish to inquire if the question thus postponed can be put down specially early on Wednesday in order to ensure that they may be reached?

Mr. SPEAKER

The order in which the questions are placed on the paper does not rest with me. It depends on the order in which they are handed in, and also on what Department they are addressed to.
