asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will consider the advisability of allowing a rebate to chemists and druggists on the tax upon spirits, which he had done in other branches of trade, in view of the fact that their livelihood would be seriously affected by the increased duty, on account of the fact that their tinctures and preparations are made of 90 to 95 per cent, of pure spirit?
