HC Deb 10 May 1909 vol 4 c1439
Mr. FELL

asked if the gardens of residences in growing neighbourhoods near London and other cities will be treated as undeveloped land, and taxed with the object of compelling the owners to sell all the land in excess of one acre?

Mr. LLOYD-GEORGE

As I have already explained to the House, I do not see my way to deal with questions of this kind until the Finance Bill is in the hands of Members.
