HC Deb 10 May 1909 vol 4 c1424
Mr. CHARLES CRAIG

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether he had information at his disposal showing the number of old age pensions paid in Ireland per county; and, if so, how long had that information been in the possession of the Treasury?

The CHANCELLOR of the EXCHEQUER (Mr. Lloyd-George)

There is no information available to show the number of old age pensions paid per county in Ireland.

Mr. C. CRAIG

Is not it quite possible and even easy for the right hon. Gentleman to have the information very simply by asking the Pension Committees in each county?

Mr. LLOYD-GEORGE

I shall make inquiries. I think it would be very useful to have these details if they could be obtained.
