§ Mr. McKENNAThe "Invincible" was taken over from the contractors on 15th March, 1909. At no period since her acceptance have the 12-inch guns been disabled for battle purposes owing to breakdown of the electric training gear or from any other cause. The fire-control instruments contracted for with the ship were supplied before the ship was accepted.
