HC Deb 10 May 1909 vol 4 c1450
Mr. DEVLIN

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he can state what steps, if any, have been taken with regard to the proposed loan to the Belfast Corporation for the carrying out of the Sydenham and Knock sewerage scheme; and what is the present position in regard to this matter?

Mr. CHERRY

A local inquiry has been held in connection with this scheme, and the Local Government Board addressed the Corporation on 27th ultimo regarding the proposed method of treating the sewage. The matter is still under consideration.
