HC Deb 04 May 1909 vol 4 c882
Mr. WATT

asked the Postmaster-General whether, in view of the present state of the finances of the country, he will introduce a short Bill whereby the loss of £220,000 per annum suffered by the State in sending Press telegraph messages at a losing rate will be obviated?

The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. Buxton)

I am afraid I do not see my way to do so.
