HC Deb 04 May 1909 vol 4 c898
Mr. HOGAN

asked the Secretary to the Treasury if he can state what amounts, in allocating the proposed sum of £2,800 provided under the Board of Trade Bill, will be allotted respectively to the Board of Trade Office, the Patent Office, and the General Register and Record Office of Shipping and Seamen; and if he can specify the officials in those three Departments who will receive increases of salary?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY of the TREASURY (Mr. Hobhouse)

The whole of the sum in question will be applied in readjusting the scales of the Upper Division Establishment of the Board of Trade proper (including the Commercial Labour and Statistical Department). The Patent Office and the General Register and Record Office of Shipping and Seamen are not affected by the rearrangement.
