HC Deb 03 May 1909 vol 4 c728
Mr. MEYSEY-THOMPSON

asked the Prime Minister if it is proposed that the Naval Inquiry Committee may delegate any portion of its inquiry or refer any particular problem to sub-committees composed of persons other than those whose names have already been announced?

The PRIME MINISTER

No, Sir, there is no such intention.

Mr. MEYSEY-THOMPSON

asked the Prime Minister if the sub-Committee selected to inquire into the disposition and organisation of the Home Fleets will make its report to the Committee of Defence as a whole?

The PRIME MINISTER

This is a matter at to which I am not prepared at present to make any statement.

Mr. MEYSEY-THOMPSON

Will the report be submitted to the House of Commons?

The PRIME MINISTER

On that also I should not like to say anything at present.
