HC Deb 03 May 1909 vol 4 c746
Mr. BALFOUR

May I ask the Prime Minister two questions. One is in relation to the question of procedure to-night. He has a motion on the paper suspending the 11 o'clock rule. Does he contemplate a long sitting? The second question which I wish to ask relates not to to-day, but to next Thursday: What Supply does he propose to take next Thursday? I think some arrangement has been come to that has not yet been made public.

The PRIME MINISTER

It is not intended to have a long sitting to-night. The suspension of the 11 o'clock rule is merely for general convenience. With regard to Thursday, I understand it is the desire of the right hon. Gentleman to have the Vote for the Board of Agriculture put down.

Mr. JOHN REDMOND

How far does the right hon. Gentleman propose to go tonight? Does he propose to end the general discussion to-night?

The PRIME MINISTER

No.
