§ Mr. GINNELLI desire to ask the Secretary to the Treasury if he will inform the House what the reasons are for withholding information regarding the payments made to Captain K. H. Gorges in 1907?
§ The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Hobhouse)So far as I am aware the only payments made from Public Funds to Captain R. H. Gorges in 1907 were such as he received from the War Office as an officer in the Army. A statement regarding the military career of Captain Gorges was made by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for War in answer to the hon. Member's question on the 15th inst.
