§ Mr. REES,in asking the Prime Minister whether he could and would arrange to give more than one day for the second reading of the Indian Councils Bill, inquired whether, since it took a week to make the world, he could not give two days to make a new India?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI have already said that I see no reason why the debate should not be brought to a conclusion on Thursday, and I have nothing to add to that.
