HC Deb 04 March 1909 vol 1 c1563
Mr. JOHN PHILLIPS

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if the Estates Commissioners have acquired the lands of Killasonna, county Westmeath, from the landlady, Miss M'Cormack; when do they intend to divide this ranch; who are the parties to get a share; and how long ago since the Commissioners acquired this property?

The CHIEF SECRETARY for IRELAND (Mr. Birrell)

The Estates Commissioners assume that the lands referred to are those of Kilfintan. The Commissioners have not yet acquired these lands, but the owner has intimated her willingness to accept their estimated price, and formal proceedings for sale are pending.
