§ Mr. SUMMERBELLasked the Under-Secretary for the Colonies if he is aware that discontent exists in Trinidad as to the treatment meted out to the employees on the Government railway; if he could give the number of men dismissed last year, the nature of the offence justifying such dismissal, and the fine or punishment imposed in each case, the number of men reduced in position, and the nature of the offence calling for such charge; and whether any of the employees so treated had an opportunity of defence, and, if so, the nature of the decision?
