§ Sir CHARLES DILKEasked whether it would be possible to furnish a return showing the cost of working the Territorial Association for each county, and such items as secretaries' salaries, office salaries, office expenses, rents, printing and stationery, number of men trained, and total amount of deductions, from grants in respect of units towards county association expenses?
§ Mr. HALDANEReturns could be furnished giving most of the information desired by my right hon. Friend, but considering that the figures would relate only to the first year of the existence of the Associations and the Territorial Force, in which the normal position cannot have been attained, I hardly think that it would be desirable to burden my staff with their preparation.
