HC Deb 26 July 1909 vol 8 c845
Mr. PIKE PEASE

asked the Prime Minister if the All-Red Scheme had been definitely abandoned?

The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Asquith)

I am informed that the investigations of the Committee which has been inquiring into this scheme have not hitherto succeeded in removing the many difficulties by which it is attended. At the same time there is no reason to assume that those difficulties will prove insuperable.
