HC Deb 22 July 1909 vol 8 c616
Mr. WILLIAM REDMOND

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland when the Neptune Blood estate, county Clare, is to be sold; and if the land is to be divided amongst the small holders in the district?

Mr. BIRRELL

The Estates Commissioners have purchased portion of this property, comprising 1.096 acres of tenanted lands and 60 acres of woodlands. The residue of the property, comprising 1.2S8 acres, has not been purchased by the Commissioners. There is no untenanted land on either portion of the estate available for distribution, as the property is all apparently tenanted with the exception of the 80 acres of woodlands.
