§ Mr. JOYNSON-HICKSasked whether, in the event of the Finance Bill being modified in its passage through this House, either in regard to the Duty on Petrol or the Estate Duties, the right hon. Gentleman would cause the Customs and Inland Revenue Commissioners to keep a complete record of all the duty paid at the higher rates in order that Returns may be made in the event of such alteration in the Bill?
§ Mr. HOBHOUSEIn the event of such a contingency arising, the existing Departmental records will contain all necessary information on which to base repayments of duty.
