§ Mr. LONSDALEasked the Prime Minister whether the inquiry of the Subcommittee of Imperial Defence into the state of the Navy has extended to an investigation on the spot into the efficiency or sufficiency or otherwise of stores, war munitions, and coal; and whether any decision has been arrived at as to the communication of the results of the investigation to the public?
§ The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Asquith)The results of the investigation will in due course be made public, and the exact scope of the inquiry will then become apparent.
