§ Mr. JOHN REDMONDWhen may we expect to see on the Paper the words which the right hon. Gentleman proposes to move with reference to the Agricultural Land Increment Tax?
§ Mr. LLOYD-GEORGEI did read my proposal out to the House, but I also promised to consider if any alternative would be more satisfactory. I have not had time to formulate the words, and, as we have passed the sub-section dealing with this particular tax, it cannot now be done on this clause. There is, therefore, plenty of time, but I guarantee that the words shall be put down.
§ Mr. JOHN REDMONDI thought it was understood it should come at the end of Clause 2?
§ Mr. LLOYD-GEORGENo, I think it is impossible to do that, as we have already passed the sub-section dealing with agricultural land.
