HC Deb 02 December 1909 vol 13 c545
Mr. JOYNSON-HICKS

asked the Attorney-General whether he is aware that, owing to the lack of judges, no common jury case has been heard in the Royal Courts of Justice between the 12th and the 24th ult.; and what steps he proposes to take to remedy this delay of justice?

The ATTORNEY-GENERAL (Sir W. Robson)

The hon. Member is mistaken in suggesting that no common jury case has been heard between the dates mentioned in the question. A court for the trial of common juries has sat every day during that period, except on Sundays and one Saturday.
