Where, after the passing of this Act, the Congested Districts Board enter into an agreement under Section seventy-nine of the Act of 1903, for the purchase of an estate or untenanted land, the provisions of Section eighteen of that Act (which relates to rents and profits recoverable by the Land Commission) shall apply in like manner as they apply in the case of land agreed to be purchased by the Land Commission, subject to the following modifications (that is to say):—

  1. (a) The Congested Districts Board shall be substituted for the Land Commission;
  2. (b) All rents and profits and arrears of rent payable to the Board shall be

recoverable by the Board in like manner as if the Board were the owner of the estate or untenanted land.
