§ Mr. HOBHOUSEI have very often explained in answers to questions the principles on which these cases are dealt with. I can only now add that the Customs boatmen are allowed to reckon unestablished service in full for purposes of superannuation, inasmuch as that service is throughout precisely similar to the established service following it.
