§ Mr. PATRICK WHITEasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will give the separate yield of each proposed new tax upon Ireland showing how he has arrived at the total of Ireland's estimated contribution to be £640,000?
§ Mr. HOBHOUSEThe estimated Irish contributions under each head, so far as I have any material for calculating them, are stated in a reply which my right hon. Friend gave to a question by the hon. Member for East Tyrone on 3rd May last. I may perhaps refer the hon. Member to that reply, to which I am not in a position to add anything.
