§ I said yesterday that I thought the Amendments which I was proposing were all uncontroversial. I thought that was the case at the time, but I find now that there is some objection, made rather as a matter of principle, to the proposal after Standing Order 28 to insert the new Standing Order 28A, and to the consequential Amendment 4B, on page 114, of the Standing Order No. 33, I understand from a conversation which I have had with the Noble Lord (Lord Balcarres) that the objection is to granting fresh facilities to the London Traffic Branch of the Board of Trade without discussion. That being the case, I cannot take these proposals to-day. I therefore propose to postpone those two which I have mentioned until Tuesday, and to move the rest, to which I understand no objection is taken.
§ Proposed Amendments put, and agreed to.
§ ADJOURNMENT.—Resolved, "That this House, on its rising to-day, do adjourn until Monday next."—[Mr. Joseph Pease.]
