HC Deb 03 August 1909 vol 8 cc1804-5

12. "That a sum, not exceeding £15,120,100, be granted to His Majesty, to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1910, for Expenditure in respect of the Army Services, including Army (Ordnance Factories)."

Resolution read a second time.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That this House doth agree with the Committee in the said Resolution."

Mr. HUNT

I should like to ask whether we could have any information about the supply of horses for the Territorial Army, and also whether we are to have any answer about the feeding of the horses. When the Yeomanry were out lots of farmers had their horses starved. Although I have tried to extract an answer, I have never succeeded—

And, it being Ten of the clock, Mr. Speaker, in pursuance of Standing Order No. 15, proceeded to put forthwith the Question necessary to dispose of the Report of the Resolution then under consideration.
