§ Mr. BIRRELLThe £50,000 in question was not a grant, but a loan from the Local Loans Fund issued under the Purchase of Land (Ireland) Act, 1891. It does not, therefore, appear in any Vote. Half of this sum was issued in the past financial year and half is to be issued to the Congested Districts Board in the current year.
