§ MR. H. H. MARKS (Kent, Thanet)To ask the Secretary of State for War whether the widow of a private soldier, who had not applied during his lifetime for a pension to which he was entitled, is permitted to claim and receive such pension after her husband's death as from the date at which he became entitled to it.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) The reply is in the negative; but if the hon. Member has any particular case in view I shall be glad to consider it as a special case.
