§ MR. LONSDALETo ask the Secretary of State for War what are the conditions under which men belonging to the Army Reserve have been authorised to reside in the Colonies; and what arrangements have been made for recalling them to the colours in case of sudden emergency.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) As regards the first part of the Question, the conditions are contained in Paragraphs 57 to 62 of the Army Reserve Regulations. As regards the second part of the Question, the arrangements are set forth in Paragraphs 146 to 148 of the Mobilisation Regulations.
