§ MR. R. HARCOURT (Montrose Burghs)I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for India whether the Secretary of State is now prepared to consider the advisability of presenting to Parliament all or part of the Reports relating to the recent famine relief operations in India, in view of the publication of a Report by the Government of the United Provinces, and of the interest which the account of such relief work would have in connection with the question of unemployment.
§ MR. BUCHANANAs soon as the Report of the Government of the United Provinces reaches him, the Secretary of State will consider the expediency of presenting it; and he will do the same as regards the reports of other provinces where relief operations have been undertaken.
