HC Deb 29 October 1908 vol 195 c453
MR. J. MACVEAGH (Down, S.)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether immediate effect will be given to Paragraph 357 of the Hobhouse Report concerning the deferment of stripes.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) The revision of the Regulations regarding good conduct stripes has required very careful consideration, and I have been in communication with the Postmen's Federation on the subject. I am now on the point of issuing the revised rules, which will follow the lines indicated in the Report of the Select Committee.
