CHARLES CRAIGI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that on 14th September last, at about 8 p.m., eight shots were fired into the house of a man named Faley, on the Tyrone estate, near Ballinderreen, County Galway; whether any arrests have been made in the matter; and what steps are being taken to prevent the repetition of outrages of this nature.
§ MR. BIRRELLThe police have reported the offence referred to. No arrests have been made. The police are affording protection in the case, with the object of guarding against a repetition of the offence.
