§ MR. R. HARCOURTTO ask the Secretary to the Treasury if he can state when the new scheme governing the future appointment of boy clerks in the Civil Service will come into force.
(Answered by Mr. Hobhouse.) I cannot state the exact date, but it is hoped that the new scheme will be brought into operation on the occasion of the next competition for boy clerkships.
